Concrete Driveways
We pour solid, long-lasting concrete driveways that handle daily traffic and Quincy weather without cracking or settling.

Your Driveway Takes a Beating
Your driveway is one of the hardest-working parts of your property. It supports thousands of pounds of vehicle weight every single day. It gets baked by the sun in summer and pounded by ice and snow in winter. If it is not built right, it will crack, sink, or break apart within a few years.
We have been pouring driveways in Quincy and Adams County for years, and we know exactly what it takes to build one that lasts. From proper base preparation to the right concrete mix, every step matters. A quality driveway is not just about looks. It is about strength, stability, and making sure you do not have to replace it in five years.
Whether you need a simple residential driveway or a larger commercial drive, we handle the entire process from start to finish. We also coordinate with other concrete projects so you can get your driveway and other work done at the same time.
How We Build Driveways That Last
Pouring a driveway is more than just spreading concrete and smoothing it out. There is a process, and skipping any step can lead to problems down the road. Here is how we do it.
Excavation and Grading
We start by removing the old driveway or digging out the area if it is new construction. The ground needs to be graded so water drains away from your house and garage. Poor drainage is one of the biggest reasons driveways fail, so we make sure the slope is correct before we move forward.
Base Preparation
A solid base is the foundation of a solid driveway. We use compacted gravel or crushed stone to create a stable layer that will not shift or settle. If the base is not compacted properly, the concrete will crack as the ground moves beneath it. We take the time to do this step right.
Reinforcement
We add rebar or wire mesh to reinforce the concrete and prevent cracking. For driveways that will handle heavy vehicles or see a lot of traffic, we use thicker slabs and additional reinforcement. This is especially important in areas where the ground freezes and thaws throughout the year.
Pouring and Finishing
Once everything is prepped, we pour the concrete evenly and finish it to your specifications. We can do a standard broom finish for traction, a smooth finish for a sleek look, or even stamped concrete if you want a decorative touch. We also cut control joints to manage cracking and make sure your driveway cures properly before you drive on it.
The result is a driveway that looks great and holds up to years of use. We have done this hundreds of times, and we know what works in Quincy.
Driveway Options and Upgrades
Not all driveways are the same. Depending on your needs and budget, there are a few different directions you can go. Here are the most common options we install.
- Standard Broom Finish: The most popular and budget-friendly option. It provides good traction and a clean, professional look.
- Exposed Aggregate: A decorative finish that reveals the stones in the concrete mix. It is durable, slip-resistant, and adds texture and visual interest.
- Stamped Concrete: Gives you the look of brick, stone, or pavers without the maintenance. Stamped driveways are a great way to boost curb appeal.
- Colored Concrete: Adds character and style. We can mix color into the concrete or apply stains after it cures to match your home or landscape.
- Heated Driveways: If you are tired of shoveling snow, we can install radiant heating tubes under your driveway. It is an investment, but it pays off in convenience.
We can also extend your driveway, widen it for extra parking, or add aprons and turnarounds. If you are planning other work like a patio installation or new sidewalk, we can coordinate everything so the concrete matches and the project runs smoothly.
Every driveway we pour is custom to your property. We take measurements, discuss your needs, and give you a detailed estimate before any work begins.
